Happily Surprised

We love Vegas and go often. It has been a while since we stayed at the Flamingo though because of some past issues. We decided to stay again due to a giveaway offer we received. Wow! We were surprised by the new updated rooms. We stays in a suite and the updates are great! the rooms are bright, clean and smell good. this is a huge improvement. Where they are still lacking is in the Elevators. They have replace a few but they have many more to go. The casino itself is slowly being upgraded but it is dated and years of smoke can be smelt. The dealers and staff are great and the buffet is one of our go tos for breakfast even when we are not staying here. I recommend giving it another chance or staying for your first time, just ask to make sure you get an updated room. If you are staying in the summer the Flamingo has one of the funnest pools- and has two large pools so you can choose the DJ party GO pool (21+) which has poolside blackjack tables or you can choose the other quieter pool- both have bars.
