I brought a group to stay here the night before we boarded the Paul Gauguin Cruise through the Society Islands. The hotel is located in a more local area, which was great for food, as we found a delicious pizza join just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There was also a convivence store 3 minutes away.

Check in went well, we have 7 rooms so not all rooms were ready when we got there, as our plane landed at 8am, an got to the hotel around 1030am so we were early. Not everything was open yet at the hotel. Once we got a few rooms checked in and changed into our suits. There isn't really a beach here, and where there is a beach it is volcanic sand, which they say has some healing properties. They do have an amazing pool here!

We had some duty free with us, so once it was appropriate we walked to the store, grabbed some mix and snacks and had a picnic and drinks at the pool with our group.

The rooms were basic and dated. For the budget price of the place we were prepared and happy as things were clean and the landscaping at the resort is amazing.

They have a restaurant and bar, which we ate supper at. It is pricy but was convenient. They also have live music and locals come to the bar for dancing. They also host an number of functions so this could affect their availability to guests.

For a short term stay I would recommend it. For long term it may not be great due to functions happening. However if you were looking for a nice economical place with views and landscaping that is 10 stars then this would be a wonderful venue for a wedding, reunion, or renewal of vows.
